Sip Happens

Sip Happens is a passion project I designed and built from scratch — a dedicated review platform for espresso martini enthusiasts. The site features honest, detailed bar reviews from around the world, a blog exploring espresso martini culture, and an interactive global map that lets users explore reviewed bars by location. Visitors can submit bar recommendations to help grow the platform's coverage. Built entirely with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, the platform uses a PostgreSQL database to store and serve reviews, blog posts, and submission data. The site is deployed and live at sip-happens.co.uk, with an active social presence on Instagram and TikTok.
