ZGS Carpentry

// Overview

ZGS Carpentry is a marketing website I designed and built from scratch for ZGS Carpentry — a Caddington-based carpenter, joiner and tiler run by Zak Sanders, covering Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. The site breaks the trade down into thirteen individual, SEO-friendly service pages — from bespoke staircases and fitted wardrobes to tiling, plastering and garden turfing — and features an interactive 3D showcase of carpentry tools, a hammer, handsaw and pencil modelled in Three.js that visitors can grab and spin. A stylised, blueprint-style coverage map places Caddington at the hub with spokes out to every town covered, each linking through to its own local area page. A category-filtered gallery of photos and video showcases completed jobs, backed by an FAQ, honest service breakdowns and a quote form that emails enquiries straight to Zak via Resend. Built with Next.js (App Router), React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS v4, the site is statically generated and deployed on Vercel with rich LocalBusiness JSON-LD, dynamically generated Open Graph images, a sitemap and per-page metadata for strong local search visibility.
